ORBEL 41: call for papers

The 41st annual conference of the Belgian Operational Research Society (ORBEL) will take place on February 2-3, 2027 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Ghent University.

Keynote speakers

Our plenary speakers will be

• Prof. Christoph Bergmeir, University of Granada
• Prof. Merve Bodur, University of Edinburgh

Contributed papers

We invite researchers, practitioners, and students with an interest in operations research, data science, and related quantitative methods for decision-making to submit their work. Accepted contributions will be presented at the conference at Ghent University on 2–3 February 2027.

Please note that the abstract submission deadline is earlier than in previous years.

Abstract submission

Authors are invited to submit an extended abstract in English, in LaTeX format, and limited to two A4 pages. The required template can be found on the conference website https://orbel2027.org/call/
