Programme features

The keynote lectures will highlight recent breakthroughs in fair learning and distributionally robust optimization (Daniel Kuhn), optimal queuing regimes and learning dynamics in games (Marco Scarsini), innovative inventory stocking and revenue management models (Huseyin Topaloglu), and advanced methods for solving challenging combinatorial problems in graph theory (Angelika Wiegele).

With 24 presentations by LNMB PhD students, the programme is rich in a variety of topics. Enjoy sessions on graphs and networks, stochastic programming, pricing, scheduling, control theory, decision models, energy systems, and more! Have a look at the PhD presentations schedule here. Qualifying PhD students will receive their LNMB Diploma on the second day.

The joint LNMB / NGB Seminar on the third day continues our tradition of connecting research in Operations Research with real-world applications. This year's seminar highlights the success stories of the Dutch Operations Research community with past winners of the prestigious INFORMS Franz Edelman Award.

Do not miss the special session this year celebrating the conference’s golden jubilee! Two of the past LNMB directors, Prof. Dr. Willem Klein Haneveld and Prof. Dr. Johann Hurink, will take us on a memorable journey through the history of LNMB conferences.

The programme gives ample opportunity for informal discussions. Find the programme here and more information about the speakers here.

Sponsors

The conference is generously sponsored by ORTEC and NWO. The LNMB board is grateful to our sponsors for their continued support of Operations Research.
