Most of the research regarding vehicle routing problems focuses on deterministic variants. However, different forms of uncertainty can be observed in real life. Therefore, this study deals with stochastic vehicle routing problems, focusing on stochastic demands. Furthermore, time windows are included in the problem. A mathematical formulation is provided and is tested on some small artificial instances, based on real life data from a logistics service provider in Belgium.
