The Metaheuristics International Conference (MIC) series was established in 1995 and this is its 15th edition! MIC focuses on the progress of the area of Metaheuristics and their applications and provides an opportunity to the international research community to discuss recent research results, to develop new ideas and collaborations, and to meet old friends and make new ones in a relaxed atmosphere. MIC’2024 strives to propose a high-quality program that will be completed by a number of invited talks, tutorials, workshops and special sessions. This edition merges MIC, ICVNS and EU/ME in a unique conference.

Submission Guidelines

All papers must be original and not simultaneously submitted to another journal or conference. The following paper categories are welcome:

  • Regular paper: novel and original research contributions of a maximum of 15 pages  (LNCS format)
  • Short paper: extended abstract of novel research works of 6 pages (LNCS format)
  • Oral presentation: high-quality published or preliminary recent works

  • Submissions / registrations open: December 1st, 2023
  • Submission deadline: January 5th, 2024
  • Notification of acceptance: February 2nd, 2024
  • Early registration: March 3rd, 2024
  • Conference dates: June 4th to 7th, 2024

Publication

Registration

The registration fees can be found on the conference website (https://mic2024.fr).

A limited number of scholarships will be awarded to participants coming from several countries. The deadline for application is set to February 12th, 2024. See website for further details.

Venue

The conference will be held in the city of Lorient in France. It is situated on the Atlantic coast in the Brittany region of France.
