ORBEL 36 – Call for abstracts
KU Leuven, Technology Campus Gent, Belgium, September 12-13, 2022
We invite all researchers, practitioners and students interested in quantitative methods for decision making to attend the 36th annual conference of the Belgian Operational Research Society (ORBEL 36) which will be held September 12-13, 2022 at the KU Leuven Technology Campus Gent.
The conference is intended as a meeting place for researchers and users of operational research and related fields such as statistics and data science. The event provides managers, practitioners and researchers with a unique opportunity to exchange information concerning quantitative techniques for decision making.
Conference topics include (but are not limited to):
* continuous, discrete or stochastic optimization, graphs and networks, multicriteria decision making, decisiontheory, game theory, simulation, queueing theory, complexity theory, and data science.
* supply chain management, production planning, scheduling, project management, transportation and trafficmanagement, energy management, DEA and performance management, and financial modelling.
* applications in industry, in the energy sector, in life sciences and in bioinformatics, in public services, inengineering, in sports, in health care institutions, in banking, and in telecommunications.
