  Abstract:
  In the conducted study the impact of three characteristics on the gains of a horizontal logistics collaboration is investigated. These characteristics are the average order size, the order size standard deviation and the number of customers, and are included in a statistical experiment as explanatory variables. The regression analysis is based on artificially generated, theoretical test instances, containing 80 companies and 256 two-party collaborations with two settings for each variable -- low and high.
