ORBEL 33 - Announcement and call for abstracts

We invite all researchers, practitioners, and students interested in quantitative methods for decision making to attend the 33rd annual conference of the Belgian Operational Research Society (ORBEL 33) on February 7 – 8, 2019 at the Old Prison (University campus) in Hasselt.


The conference is intended as a meeting place for researchers and users of OR, statistics, computer science, and related fields. It provides managers, practitioners, and researchers with a unique opportunity to exchange information on quantitative techniques for decision making. 


The confirmed keynote speakers of this edition are:

  • Prof. Claudia Archetti, Università degli Studi di Brescia
  • Prof. Richard F. Hartl, Universität Wien
  • Prof. Sandra Transchel, Kühne Logistics University


Conference topics include (but are not limited to):
